About this manual

This site exists because Volkswagen never published an owner’s manual for the Volkswagen Polo 6R (A05) online, the way it does for later VW models (🔗). The manuals that were issued carry a fair number of errors and gaps in the translation from German, and at the time this site was built a newer printed manual cost around 230 PLN (second-hand copies are either in German or English, or were published in 2010–2011 and are missing a lot of information).

A printed manual is also less convenient: it is no use on a phone, and it has neither dark mode nor a search box… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The site you are reading grew out of the Polish edition of the manual published in November 2013 — thanks Tobiasz for sharing it! ;-) The English text comes from the original English edition of the same manual. The illustrations and diagrams were upscaled to a higher resolution and sharpened using AI.
