Vanity mirror light
Section titled “Vanity mirror light”There is a vanity mirror under a cover in the folded-down sun visor. A lamp lights up when cover 2 is slid open.
The lamp goes out when the vanity mirror cover is slid shut, or when the sun visor is folded up.
Under certain conditions, the lamp above the sun visor goes out automatically after a few minutes. This protects the vehicle battery against discharging.

Tinted windscreens have a coating that reflects infrared radiation. So that electronic devices from the aftermarket accessories range can still function, there is an area free of this coating (communication window) above the interior mirror fig. 72.
The uncoated area must not be covered from the outside or the inside, and no stickers may be applied to it, as this could cause the electronic components to malfunction.
